I became convinced years back that most of these people are fund raisers who need a cause. They no more give a shit about the environment, guns, the poor or anything else you might think of then the man in the moon. Their purpose is to make noise, raise money and keep as much in there pockets as they can while justifying their existence. Once the spotted owl is saved they just move onto the next gig never mind that the spotted owl is doing better in the cut forest then the old growth. They truly don't care. I mean listen to them, they all read from the same propaganda and say the same insane things that they think will sound good and give them the sound bite they desire. Sad really.
