The Times is not controlled in its editorial content. Arnaud de Borchgrave quit on an occasion when the Church tried to interfere, but that was a rare instance. There are people who are leery, because of the connection, and others that are not. It has been a few years since I have read it much, but my impression is that it was no more biased than the NYTimes, just in a different direction. The Washington Post, post- Bradlee, is superior to both, in that regard......
