Nasdaq, Microsoft hit 4-month lows ($COMPQ, $NDX, MSFT) By Tomi Kilgore

The Nasdaq Composite ($COMPQ) has extended its earlier losses, and is now getting pummeled for a 41 point loss to 1,922, the lowest level seen since Apr. 17. The Nasdaq 100 Index ($NDX) is shedding 39 points to 1,590, but still above lows hit in late-July (1,580.57 on July 24). Microsoft (MSFT) , the NDX's most-heavily weighted component, is sliding $1.41 to $63.60, a level not seen since Apr. 17.
