The state put out a white sheet on it saying all contractors had to pay at least this wage and benefit package. 15.86 + 1.15 in benefits. Union from our new contract is 21.86 + 11.14 in benefits. $17.01/hr. $34.00/hr. Those union guys must be ready for retirement, eh? I am sure that is my fault somehow. Actually it's all our faults. We're supposed to give the union a monopoly so that you're forced to pay them whatever they want. One of the wonders of public transit is that its workers are ALWAYS unions. PussyPaw et al want a world where everything is public transit. That way the unions can shut everything down whenever thay want to. Or hold everyone else hostage.
