Maybe you should start a new thread:

"Asset allocation strategies during extinction-event meteorite strikes."

The relevant asset classes are:
1. guns and ammo
2. food (dried or canned)
3. Real Estate (out of reach of 1000-foot tidal waves, with bomb shelter on it, and cropland for when sunlight returns in a few years)
4. cigarettes
5. drugs (both recreational and therapeutic, a selection of widely-used types)
