KRY.t scares me too,...but so does government(gggggggg)
DDE.v don't know anything about Elliot international or Liverpool,...but I do know that the brains behind Motorola, General Instruments and especially Amazon ain't considered as brainy as they used to be as well as Apple, Pioneer and Intel,...and there are a lot of unhappy shareholders of those companies out there. Not saying anything here about DDE, just that everyone makes mistakes sometimes.

Gen Instruments: Can't get a chart for them,...weren't they taken over by someone else??
Pioneer: http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=pio,uu[h,a]dacayimy[de][pb50!i!d20,2][vc60][iUe12,26,9!Lc20!La12,26,9!Lb14!Lp14,3,3]

I seem to remember reading several articles somewhere about Sony, Toshiba and some other mega South East Asian companies were dipping their toes into 3d televisions and viewing projectors recently,...thought they were fairly far advanced systems. The brits had some press about some no-glasses 3d projector tv a few years back,...there were some video clips on CBC-tv about it but what's happening now,...I have no idea?
The last NR from DDE was quite interesting involving former NBC president Littlefield,...if his contacts in NBC can get GE involved,...well that's very interesting mais non?!
IDO.v,... we all forget that luck is one of the most important things in the mining exploration business, just as important as brains, knowledge and hard work. Looks like they didn't have enough and must go back to the trough. Hopefully they will use some of the money to make the website a lot better. Half the creeks they put in the newsreleases aren't on the website,...and I like to see location maps, with assay results overlayed, lots of pictures of the work area, rocks, diagrams of what they think the models are etc, etc, the stuff a lot of their peers provide when they want my money. Come to think of it, some of DDE's 3d stuff would come in handy (ggggggggggggg).
ymc.u.v,...seems to me that base metal/gold plays just won't stimulate much excitement these days. SRU.v has 50 million+ tonnes of resource which is economic at todays prices even with its Northern Canadian location and it is ignored,... http://www.starfieldres.com/ Good website too, IDO.v should look at it.
I think one must wait for clear signs the economy might uptick,...so far I see deflation even with Greenie printing money like crazy and lowering interest rates to 30 years lows.
SUF.t, jumped after it sunk below $4.00,...current philosophy dictates I look for pretty sure, short term plays,...with increasing support in market depth and good near terms charts. Losses are sold quickly, and gains,..almost as quick. Right now everything looks vulnerable so I should spend more time at the beach (gggggggggggggg).
Relevant to all PGM plays,...note that the date of release of this NR was near the peak of PGM prices,...perhaps pertinent to why we haven't heard about SUF's big contract with an Auto maker,...buyer's market now. Catalytic convertors account for the main consumption of palladium, and a major use of platinum. New convertors look to be using much less of the metals. May explain some of the 60% drop in Palladium price, and similar drop in Platinum over the last half year. Trend is down unless demand picks up, but dropping sales of autos can't be helping. HONDA MOTOR ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENT OF BREAKTHROUGH EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
TORRANCE, Calif., March 22, 2001 — Honda Motor Co., Ltd., and Catalytic Solutions, Inc. (CSI), of Oxnard, Calif., have developed a breakthrough emission control system that greatly reduces the use of costly precious metals, Honda announced today.
Honda holds a 10 percent stake in CSI. The company was founded in 1996 and has focused on the development of advanced materials technologies for application to catalysts.
The emission control technology uses perovskites and other metal oxides, allowing for a 50 to 70 percent reduction in the use of precious metals such as platinum, palladium and rhodium. To achieve the full benefits of the system, control of the air/fuel ratio and early catalytic activation are important, which are key attributes of Honda's advanced low emission technology.
Honda has been evaluating the performance benefits of the technology with CSI since 1999. The technology will be implemented for the first time on a new Honda Stepwgn model to be introduced in Japan this April.
Plans call for the technology to be applied to other Honda models in markets around the world in the years ahead, including the U.S. No timetable has been established for the introduction of the technology on vehicles sold outside Japan.
CSI developed the new catalytic coating materials used in the perovskite three-way catalyst. These materials include unique crystal structures that convert and reduce oxides of nitrogen, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. The two companies worked together to optimize the properties for Honda's automotive catalysts, with Honda's air/fuel ratio control and early catalytic activation capabilities playing a key role.
Honda has long been a leader in low emission technologies, dating back to 1975 when the Civic CVCC became the first car to meet the 1970 Clean Air emissions requirements without using a catalytic converter. Over the years, Honda introduced the first gasoline-powered car to meet the Low Emission Vehicle standard (1995), the first gasoline-powered car to meet the Ultra Low Emission Vehicle standard (1997), the first to sell LEV vehicles voluntarily in all 50 states and the first to sell a gasoline-powered vehicle meeting the Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle standard (2000), the most stringent emission standard in the world. With the introduction of the 2001 Civic lineup, Honda also became the first company to distribute ULEV rated vehicles in all 50 states. http://www.honda2001.com/news/press.html?y=2001&r=535
CSL,...Gravel might be a good bet in the right location, especially if we dip into recession and the Cretin govermint decides to spend all our tax money on make work projects like road building in Shenanigans
Damned maple trees overgrew my garden in the back yard this year,...things pretty pathetic. The neighbors are somewhat shocked that I dug up the front yard and planted my veggies, only place left that gets sun (ggggggggggggggggggg). Just got my first tomato and canteloupe,....I forget giving me that west coast bragging stuff about getting your first stuff in March;-)))
Got a pick for the 20th century's greatest book?
