I don't know if you realize it, but you've basically said two conflicting statements in this quote. If Pentium 4 sales are as anemic as you say, then Intel should have no problem doubling them. With the i845 chipset and the lower price point that is the basis behind your post, it may not be as unlikely as you think.

As for losses next quarter, I'm sure you can come up with tons of contrived examples to show how possible it is for Intel to miss estimates, but since you have no data to back up your claims, and all your numbers seem to be filler taken out of thin air, your predictions amount to nothing more than stark possibilities. I'll grant you that these possibilities exists, but I think you are ignoring quite a lot of you truly believe that the downsides outweigh the upsides.
