i, too have taken Dr Bob's TA training classes--- .
Although it looked to me that the market was stuck in a trading range, when i got his Alert that we could be in for a countertrend rally over the next couple of weeks, i did give him the benefit of a doubt based on his 26 years of experience. At that time, i chose ONE relatively low risk trade ......and today, it is a bit under water.

The bottom line is , whether it is Dr Bob or Bob Brinker (who saddled his "trekkies" with the ill-timed QQQ trade last October, YOU MUST TAKE THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN + MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS .
i recall that everyone from Ralph Acampora to Joe Battapaglia to Elaine Garzarelli to Victor Neiderhoffer has called it wrong from time to time. (Unfortunately Mr Neiderhoffer went under in the day the market closed early because of collars--- he got so confident , that he bet it all---- on margin... ) Elaine Garzarelli is famous for her buy signal during the 1987 debacle, but blew it forever on her SELL signal in '98......

Good luck to us all S Long

***OT shoreco, re DrBob's TA classes..glad that some of the posts/links were helpful.

Did you ever wonder why DrBob rarely discusses patterns in his updates??

The only other TA service that I have paid for is Security Trader which is about $90. for three months, so it is the only thing that I could recommend to someone. They do not get it right all the time, but continuously post charts during the day when members ask their opinion and it is only half the price. Other members may chime in with their opinion, an added bonus. Seems the better bet to me BUT there is plenty of free info on the net, just start digging.

This sounds like an advertisement to me "Do yourself a favor" No thanks!
>>If any lurkers or newbies are reading this and you got caught up in DrBob's alert, please do yourself a favor and "take" DrBob's class so you can do your own analogy of the market.........

Enough said<<
