Jim: Did manage to make it through college and graduate school and retire at 33 though. Even if I didn't score 798 on my SAT math.

The statistics I've seen comparing "success" with "IQ" (both questionable entities) show little correlation beyond a certain IQ (I recall the correlation dropping something like exponentially off from around average intelligence).

Creativity is certainly a large factor in being successful and neither SAT scores nor conventional IQ tests measure that to any appreciable degree.
