Mike,

Until the comm'ns equipment sector fell off a cliff, Chambers had successfully guided the street to being a couple cents shy of actuals. He had been more successful than most companies in consistently beating estimates.

I wouldn't expect him to change his stripes and start openly communicating his actual degree of optimism to the street with absolute precision.
