El Polvo--regards my problem with Vision--this is in a review applied to "Vision" <<The "hell fires" of this world are intended to purify you.>> i counter,what if this is in fact hell,and the object is to escape,which is in , rough gritty terms, the Buddhist twist on the predicament of life. And why,intellectually can this not be applied to Jesus, who said "I am NOT of this world". There are random acts of violence performed by nature on life everyday. I remember watching via CNN the pre-XMAS 1999 floods and mudslides in Venezuela and the many thousands just buried and dead in mud. Of those,many babies and children,how is this a purifying event??? if you saw the movie "Rapture" i suspect you despised it. i,of course,loved it. I am a devout believer in God,but not as creator this den of horrors.That is my opinion. I can say,to be honest,you would frankly despise the book "Cat's Cradle" BTW,as recently as 1994,K.Vonnegut stated he still believes the end of the world is not a far off event. So actually these warring points of view are in favor of something better,but the argument that makes it impossible for these two parties to commune peacefully,one believes all this horror is a part of God's infinite wisdom,and thus God be the creator of this world,where the other refuses to reduce God to that level. thus it is really pointless for the two sides to communicate with one another,but in silence,mutually co-exist,as they each have the same goal.Paxmax
