IMHO, JFK was as much Cold Warrior as RWR. IMHO a Government Conspiracy to kill a President (when he has only a year left on his term) is less likely than O.J. "finding" his ex-wife's murders. Anyway, I'm sure the FBI and CIA had more than enough information to either defeat JFK in 64, or blackmail him into doing anything they wanted.

If the Warren Commission's Report is good enough for the Presidents family, its good enough to me. Can holes be poked thru the Warren Report? Sure. But just because there are flaws in the report, doesn't make it false. There were flaws on the side of the prosecution of the O.J. trial. That doesn't mean O.J. didn't do it.

BTW, Irish Catholics have had a leadership roll in U.S. Intelligence agencies from the beginning (OSS). I do not believe that they be party to killing off the first Irish American President.

Viet Nam issue was started in the fifties with the French and they gave up and we entered.

Nope. The French gave up after they were defeated at Dien Bien Phu, where IKE would not intervene with US Forces.

gosh man read.

I do think JFK would have handled it better than LBJ. He would have either commited the forces necessary, or got the hell out. I think the former, given his demonstrated willingness to stand up to the Soviets.
