What's great about Bilow is that he's inherently inconsistent. First, he criticizes Canuck's grammar, yet Bilow is no grammar expert himself. For example, note the incorrect use of a comma before the last clause in this sentence:

"By the way, I'm not posting this explanation here in any kind of hope that I'm going to educate you enough that you will understand the subtleties of the memory market, I know that's hopeless."

The correct punctuation, of course, would be either a semi-colon or a new sentence.

As for substantive contradiction, my good friend Bilow preaches Samsung's quotes as the gospel to prove his "point" on RDRAM market share, but ignores Samsung's views that RDRAM will be the desktop memory of choice. A very selective "memory" you have, Young Grasshopper.

Mr Bilow:

Even using your interpretation (which i disagree with), i would recalculate that 500% if i were you. I just don't have the heart to point out the obvious error in it. At least we have you admitting RDRAM is "ramping". Keep checking those stores. :)

Mr Bilow:

35% is quite the niche, eh?

P.S. : I do promise to attempt to clean up my grammar, i keep forgetting you are storing all this away for further publishing (do i get royalties on that?).

Let's repeat these quotes, just for the readers' convenience:

Samsung officials say they believe that RDRAM and DDR will make up about 25 percent each of its memory mix, with SDRAM accounting for the remaining 50 percent, by the end of the year.
news.cnet.com;

That's not a quote, its a spoonerism. And then you proceed to "run numbers" with this hogwash. LOL. You sound like a bookie operating out of the back of a pizza shop.
