Telstra, PCCW (0008-HK) support CSL's 3G development 17:16 08-AUG-2001 Hubert Ng, chief executive officer of Pacific Century CyberWorks' (PCCW) CSL, said the company leans toward entering a solo bid for a local 3G licence. Mr Ng also said CSL currently has no financing pressure and shareholders Telstra, together with PCCW, would give support to CSL for the 3G service development. He added that CSL cannot avoid the falling trend of ARPU among network operators. (End)
