Max, you do have a good point there that fund redemptions may increase on another visit to the 1600 level. However, the strong rally in April may mitigate that a bit, as people may be getting used to the volatility of the market.

The talking heads that keep saying that now is the time to buy and that we are not far from bottom doesn't help either.

Without a small rally today, I do tend to agree that if we go below 1890 Friday or Monday without bouncing it could lead to further erosion that may get us into the 1600 range.
I still believe it may be a bit too early for that right now, however.
