Okay, I have decided. I agree with you about the Cabinet meeting, with a possible exception for its first convening, but disagree with you about the Senate. Solemnizing deliberation is worthwhile, too. In the case of the Senate, the ritual is embedded in their traditions, and should command some respect. In the case of the Cabinet, it is too much of an innovation, and not ritualized enough........
