You probably already know that XP comes with it's own firewall. eom

ronniron, a full page ad in today's paper says Windows XP has no java and invites users to download it from java.sun.com

I don't use XP and have no knowledge about this - just reporting what I read.

Did you try the graphic acceleration slidebar? What browser version are you using? Are you dual booting?
