excellent choice that Horses Mouth, also one of Sir Alec Guinnesses greatest performances in it's screen version----i will throw in book published in 1900,not saying it is the greatest, but Conrad must get his place in the 20th century as well as the 19th century,as a great writer.Soon before W,Burroughs died,he stated he was re-reading the books of his youth and went on to say,Joseph Conrad is still a great read, for him.Max a quote from "Lord Jim" at key point, before Lord Jim makes his act of self redemption.
<<She remained thus for a time in a supplicating attitude before she sprang up."You are false!" she screamed out after Jim."Forgive me," he cried."Never!Never!" she called back.>>> end quote--max
