I too, am against embryonic stem cell research. I found it interesting that in a recent interview, Mary Tyler Moore says that invitro embryonic stem cells WILL cure diabetes, cancer, etc etc....my my ..I did not know she was so smart....even the scientists have not discovered that as of yet. That is one problem we have as a nation. WE are listening to these ACTORS or get PAID to ACT tell us what is real...and the media, especially MSNBC is so biased that they have run Ms. Moores, and Mr. Supermans comments over and over and over...??? My take on the deal is that IF GWB has to do something, he will allow some lines to be established then hold tight controls on it, feeling that it will be better than just letting the "scientists" run free with whatever they want to do. If he turned it over to the states, there is too much chance of misuse.
