George Cole... Amen brother ~

... and it is NOT anything personal toward "ART" - quite the contrary actually... but "he" is one of "them" (VBG).

I'm outta here for the day... the cool water's of Lake Michigan beckon.

PS: just another level to break in the dollar and I think we see XAU 72ish on the next rally... don't know if it's forming here, or will take another 90 days; but 50-52ish is holding, NEM mid $18 is holding, $266ish POG is holding and all we need is a small fraction of investors to add small fractions to a gold/silver safety/hedge; or an anti-derivative/weaker dollar inevitability play.

... we shall see.

Speaking of obstacles to todays trader?! IMPORTANT!

Am currently involved with a small group of professionals investigating whether one or more web based services providing time and sales in real time (in addition to quotes) is receiving and disseminating bogus transactions to traders.

There's some preliminary, but confirmed evidence that this has occurred in several stocks I've worked with during the past year.

It will take time to pursue this and those involved are very busy with our own work in the business already.

Also, for legal reasons, I cannot disclose the service currently being examinationed by us.

It may be nothing nefarious. Perhaps a serices of software and hardwared bugs within either their system or that of the W.S. data provider.

So, until and unless we determine that there's something else going on there are no plans to pass our information onto the SEC.

HOWEVER. And this is my reason for posting a warning here.

Any attempts to read the tape based upon T&S available through free services could do your buy & sell decision making more harm than good.

So be careful out there.

Hopefully I'll be able to provide an update in a week or two about how far my friends and I (none from this thread BTW) have been able to take our little inquiry.

Cheers,

Isopatch
