I am extremely tolerant of those who wish to use a higher power, ANY higher power. Satanists, Animists, Pantheists, even Monotheists, have nothing to fear from me. I may even enjoy learning about their beliefs- SO LONG as they never, ever, try to use the machinery of the state to foist those beliefs on anyone else. Empathy requires that I imagine how the least may feel- so when the great Christian multitudes begin invoking their Jesus, I always think of the few in the audience who are Jewish, or Hindu, or Moslem, or Agnostic, or Atheist or even the Satanist- as long as you aren't hurting anyone else, your belief deserves tolerance, and you deserve to be left ALONE. That's what freedom of religion means- it means freedom FROM, as well as freedom TO. I suspect you are equally tolerant Karen. Although we've never talked about it. Shall we discuss it?
