Hey there Leggie!

I've been counting calories for a couple of weeks now - really makes a huge difference. But it is also so easy to do now- so many sites online will just let you plug in a food and give you all the values - even tally everything up for you. I am trying to do 1400 - 1500 a day ... getting to where I can nail it pretty close.

But going to Vegas this wekend - that will be tough ! Some of the greatest chefs in the world now have restaurants there now. But I'm packing my pedometer - so I'm going to make sure I get 12000 steps a day in- no matter what ! Also plan to stay with the water while I'm there... I'm even taking my own apples - so I don't get too tempted!

I have been consistent with my workouts... and have upped my weights recently . I am gaining strength !

talk to you soon-

Bev

one more thing -

if you've only got 300 calories left:

at the grocery now, they've got broccoli and cauliflower florets- either microwave, steam or bake them - then make a sauce of soy sauce and sesame oil.... not a bad meal... had it for lunch.

either that or a big salad - with a vinaigrette dressing

but I like the broc- cauli thing ... guess because it's hot , it seems like more of a filling thing
