To Dubya, no decision is too hard. All he has to do is call in his righthand man Cheney and tell him to make the choice.Anyone with a resting pulse of 43 has either one of the following........first degree heart block, drug-induced bradycardia or doctor who can't take an accurate pulse.

I think you have accidentally stumbled on the compromise position Bush will probably take. They may use embryos that would be destroyed anyway but not allow new ones to be created specifically for the purpose. Most will accept the compromise. It will neither make nor break his Presidency. there will be myriad stipulations, continuing studies, restrictions, red tape, government oversight panels, on and on. In other words, government business a usual.
