Ike: Today was IMO the day when foreign investor with money in the US stock market will be asking themselves if they really need to be in the market right now. All eyes are turning on the US dollar as people wonder what the impact of the stock market sell-off will have on the dollar. The dollar and the stock market are joined at the hip. The current account deficit has been financed by importing capital -- now we will see how this plays out if foreigners no longer want our paper -- this could get interesting -- and it could get interesting very fast. The reason I'm sticking to physical metal is I have a hard time to believe people will be ready to repeat dot.coms. Maybe just a gambling passion to cover the wounds. I never hide we are in the economic situation without precedence in our history, wealth without existence, lack of new ideas to implement them into peoples brains. Maybe I'm on the dark side someone can say, because I don't believe in promises which are made to be broken.
