Hello Andrew,

Was wondering what your take on CYMI currently is. Over the past several days, I have rotated some of my position out of CYMI and into RTEC and COHU. IMHO, CYMI currently has a window of opportunity beyond which it will be relegated as "old technology" since the SIA has been pushing the roadmap up sooner and sooner, meaning CYMI's time in the sun is becoming shorter and shorter. With .07 micron technology not too far off and physical limits hit at say .03 microns(if we get some breaks along the way), investors must begin to wonder what happens next, in the post-optical years so to speak.

Would like to hear if you think CYMI has many years left as a critical player in the SCE arena or if my scenario is at all plausible; I for one hope I am horribly wrong. TIA.

Regards,

Brian

Another question I have. Given that IC's have both critical and non-critical layers, any "post-optical solution" would need to be adapted to work with current photolithographic techniques, and be backward compatible so to speak, no?
