I think the economy is far too large and diverse to expect just one innovation to turn it around.

Windows XP will help not hurt.
HDTV should help significantly once content becomes more available, prices go down, and the masses start replacing their current TVs.
3G will help.
Bluetooth could be a killer application permeating many aspects of daily life. Then again, it may become little more than a fad. Don't know yet, but it does offer much potential for innovative products.

Essentially, innovation and growth across many aspects of the economy is likely to to get the market moving rather than a single "killer" product.
