I certainly agree with that sentiment.

In the case that Rambi cited however, she was speaking of a student praying, not an "official", so I think more latitude should be given. I doubt you would have seen a teacher or principle similarly... (they **should** know better <g>)

As to the intention when it comes to the religious expression of another, perhaps I am naive..I just take it at face value.

Personally, I'm offended by commencement speakers who sanctimoniously preach political positions (environment, guns, AIDS funding, abortion, etc.) and those who mention Bill Clinton's name. In contrast, having someone hand me a stack of greenbacks that say "In God We Trust" doesn't offend me at all.
