Hi Doc,

I just poked my head out to check on the tech stocks. Wow! Did they all split 5-for-1?

I turned the entire market off a few months ago. It's easier on the nerves. We are probably ripe for a turnaround soon, as the magazines and newspapers are full of market tragedies.

OK, so public office is not my bag. Some folks were truly offended by some of my remarks, including "we must ask ourselves how seemingly educated people can attend school for years, and come out at last with a big bag of wind, still not knowing a thing" and the real kicker that pissed a lot of people off and evoked boos from the crowd: "Some educational institutions, which are really nothing more than training facilities, should lock their gates and issue refunds and apologies."

One lady told me "it time for you to be leaving town."

I told her that I did not have my Webster's pocket Ebonics translator handy, but she should consider filing a lawsuit against the university that gave her a Ph.D. If you ever meet someone who says that they are an education major, run. If they refer to themselves as a doctor, sprint.

Peace,

Theo
