<<BTW, how do you own and store your physical ?>>

I have a sign on my property which reads "HERE LIVES THE PROUD GOLD BUG. SOMEWHERE UNDER THE 159 YARDS OF MY CAST IRON SEWER LINE LIES MY GOLD. PLEASE COME AND ASK FOR THE PERMISSION BEFORE DIGGING".

Frost line 78 inches. My neighbours keeping better eye on my property than I do.

but there is no way physical will outperform>>

Unless strict regulations will put the ban on trading promises. But you brought the point which I missed, which is that there is really no big need to put shares through the roof. Thanks, Claude.

I have been away from this conversation for a while -- is anybody having any luck tracking the physical gold short position? This looks like the time to cover if there are actually large short positions out there -- do you know? TIA

Rare coins are a space efficient way of playing gold,There is the action of both the POG and the collectors market which works to its own cycles .There is also a rare coin index called the CU3000.As with any market of "up market" collectibles, the prices at auction can be very rewarding, but are very subject to fluctuation of fashion
It helps if you really like the coins.
A good coin dealer would be able to supply more information.
