I don't. Remember that athlon pulled amd from the last "deep trouble" and the new chip is already on horizon.
AMD may get into the red zone but they can take now....

Actually with <finally> Palomino, smp and notebook they are in much better shape than they were 3-4 months ago. The market just figured out what they should have known then.

It was well known the P4 would outscale the Athlon over a year ago. Hammer and Palomino delays were not known.

Not to mention the whole chip industry is in deep doo doo...
