I wouldn't be so quick to assume that the bankruptcy of GX competitors means less competition. The fiber isn't going to disappear just because its owner goes under. It's going to be sold dirt cheap in a bankruptcy sale, possibly to more formidable companies than own it now. GX could wind up competing against well-financed companies that acquired their assets for much less than it cost GX to build its system.
