If you understand the psychology of the Palestinians, which Sharon most certainly does, you would realize that he couldn't have pissed them off more -- even if he had walked into their territory and started taking potshots at kids. Sharon knew exactly what he was doing and which of their buttons to push. He wanted an end to the peace process and he wants an end to the "Palestinian problem." If he thought he could get away with using nukes he would. The Israelis are not our friends either. Over the years they have killed their share of Americans. Each side are thorns in our security and it is too bad both cannot be eliminated.
