There was a little "revelation"...adding employees, in the middle of the rampup...admittedly not much info, but encouraging, nonetheless...shows we ain't dead yet! I see the AGM has been pushed back to Oct 1...wonder why? <<CanFibre Ltd. is one example of the kind of employer Lackawanna wants to cultivate. The Toronto-based company has 65 employees at its local plant and plans to add another 10 or so by next month, said president Christopher Carl. CanFibre uses waste wood to make medium-density fiberboard, for use in kitchen cabinets and other furniture. "Our business is still in the middle of ramping up to full capacity," he said.Carl said he has developed a good working relationship with city officials as the company has established its operations.
