Gold was supposed to "fly" a couple of mos ago, no? GST, your gold fixation is as bad as some folks' obsession with tech stocks. Neither makes any sense to me at all. But at least tech stocks did well the last several yrs. Gold? A no show. Gold during the energy price run-up? nada! Gold during the Asian meltdown in 98? no-show. Gold as an inflation hedge? nada. nope. sorry. no-show. Gold during the current US economic crash? no-show. nope. sorry. no-show. dead money. speaking of dead gold, where is Craig? is he off trying to shore up sagging coffee and silver commodities?
