Federal laws are needed to change the system, and a recent bill, introduced by Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) to provide for provisional votes for unregistered voters, would go a long way toward solving what Daschle perceives as America''s civil rights and voting rights problems.

Would someone explain that to me???? Provisional votes for unregistered voters???? Another way to count votes that aren't there??

wow, the article mentions that Daschle graduated from South Dakota State University. Are the entry requirements so tough for S Dakota State that Dorothy's dog Toto went there after being whisked away from Kansas in a tornado? answer: yaaaa mon. and Toto graduated first in his class.

DMA,

Heck of a Daschle quote. Karl Marx of course said "From each, according
to their ability, to each, according to their need". The Senate Majority Leader
has created his own line of designer communistic quotes by claiming that
the US Constitution protects people from poverty. Well, I wonder if he is
going to get my money back that I lost with that Iomega (IOM) position?

WOW! WOW! Amazing. Thank God the House is still Republican. And the President. We'd better keep those or we'll be saluting the hammer and sickle.

Better open your Swiss accounts, boys, and start shipping some money to them.
