Hi 2Mar$, I thought you guys might get a kick out of these posts I made what seems like a long time ago ...

Message 13476375

Message 15289439

Wayne started the thread in January 2000 to try and let people understand that the mania was a once in a life time event and that it would probably end badly. As it turns out, Wayne went to all to cash for personal reasons in March. I initially bailed out (of individual long term hold stocks and stock mutual funds) in April then in-and-out a little in the summer and then for good in the 1st week of Sept, 2000. When institutions stopped snapping up shares of CSCO at $50, I knew it was all over for good.

The toughest part was telling family and friends and having them not believe me.

Good luck today guys.
Chris

07:41 ET BEA Systems (BEAS) 20.22: CSFB reducing estimates to reflect increasing concern about company's ability to meet Q3 and Q4 sequential revenue growth projections... Q3 goes to $292 mln and $0.10 (from $311 mln and $0.11) and Q4 to $306 mln and $0.11 (from $354 mln and $0.13)... concerns stem from BEAS' deteriorating backlog, economic assumptions behind revenue guidance (unchanged since the end of 2000), and high European exposure.
