RE: chips"they got hit in the head and dropped back."

Bob,
Art Cashin who I believe is a principal in an NYSE firm who often appears on cnbc from the floor said earlier this week that the market was like a head getting hit with a hammer. Anything(ie any bit of positive news) that gets in the way of the hammer is good. So thanks for the positive take this morning. We have been at your number on naz and dow for two days without breaking them at the close. We avoided my nightmare thursday thru monday scenario. If we can get thru day a little up and come back to work on monday with a bit of a smile maybe a tech rally in the face of all this evil news being analysed by the analyst community can indeed occur. Odds in my opinion are still against us short term. But we shall see how we fare today. mike
