Brian,
PPI numbers hit the European market that had been in rally mode and appear to be causing a weak US open, but what it does is eliminate inflation as a fed concern which will lead them to reduce rates perhaps by 1/2. What has happened has happened. What we need is policy that gets us out of this mess. 1/2 point now will become acceptable and desirable. Again I say, i will committ hari kari if lower rates recreates the Japan mess for us. I dont believe it will. It is time for AG to act. mike
PS I would be a buyer on the PPI news
