Of course, the pundits and analysts were warning people not to short a low-volume market. And yet it didn't take much to see that the sharp move could be to the downside, given the plummeting earnings and the bleak economic outlook, combined with the inexplicable complacency. Easy in hindsight, huh? Back to my bear cave.
