NOT!!! OT!! SLIDER! ISO! ED! TOMASSO! You guys have fun. It is a hot summer. Just be nice enough to not be caught by the Gestapo. It is just not acceptable for either Slider or Iso to be pulled into a tiff that gets anybody removed/ banned/ sent to camps (no gas YET)/ bannished/shunned (still just an Amish thing, like excommunication for Catholics?)... We need good dialogue, like in last few days. Thanks Slider, Iso and all the folks who engage in discourse. We do live here in a semi-police cyber-state. Whoa there little Yap Dog, WHAT'S THIS MEAN? Here I am enjoying a nice summer slumber, watching my favorite stocks tread water and come up spitting after a good dunking, and wondering whether I should continue to trade the downward spiral when I hear that you missed me. A quick review of the old "strictly drilling" thread reveals some obvious truths: 1, This new guy Art has some really good insights into the longer term macro picture and thinks for himself. He obviously is on the wrong thread. 2, Now that so many of the old posters left iso and you to your own thread, there seems to be a dearth of posters to pull the two of you up short on your puffy claims, rewrites of prior positions and building of straw men that can be easily taken apart for the entertainment of the hangers on. 3, Roebear has emerged as more than a hanger on, he is now blossoming into a real copycat polecat. Way to go Roebear, many failed to see the true potential. Clique on Roebear, clique on. 4, The net is a huge place and there is room for a self aggrandizing thread where posters talk about how misunderstood they are and how others can't bear to hear the "truth" while they shout down anyone with an opposing view and attack the poster personally. 5, Isosmug can't say anything anymore without saying "Slider and I." There's nothing worse than a bully who has to have someone with him to feel virile. 6, You're still yappy but you're still the best catalyst for discussion and you still type fast and write well. I wish you would pick the needle up on the record player and this time put it down on a different spot, hearing the same thing over and over again takes some of the fun out of reading your posts. I do admit that doing your 532nd rewrite of the same material makes for a pretty good draft. 7, I know gold is making a move this week. Are you out there in the dark digging it up so that you can sell some of it or are you camped in the back yard with a flashlight and a shotgun with paranoid fears that someone will be there with a shovel looking for your stash? By the way, I think you're looking for approval in all the right places by posting where isoobnoxious and his sidekick Rowbear will run off anyone with any empathy and insight. NEWS BULLETIN!!!! Mark isn't going to retire as long as he can stand up and hit the long ball with a lower at bat to home run ratio than anyone in the history of the game. Do you still miss me? ggg. Ed
