Eric, I will be accompanied by an associate (Jack) who also reads the thread.

I am completely flexible, but somewhere at or within walking distance of the Expo sounds great.

I will bring name tags.

Thanks so much for your organizational efforts.

JB

5:00 PM may be a bit early - though if you're planning something other than a sit-down dinner, and at the hotel, then it wouldn't make much difference, obviously. Anyone who chooses to enter late can look for a pullback, I suppose.

Bigger question for me is whether I want to hear Don Bright explain why doing what most of us are doing (or attempting to do) is virtually impossible and very probably financially suicidal, or see Oliver Velez in the flesh going over his approach to a better impossible suicide, or whether I might do better just to skip both.

Online Trading Expo Update

From prior Expo's, I thought that the first night didn't usually work due to folks getting in late, or missing the first day. However, as TraderAlan and KymarFye pointed out, many also have constraints with the second night, with late tutuorials or other plans. Does anyone have problems with gathering on Friday night? I've listed the same time, 5 to 7, but we typically spend the first hour chatting and finding the missing, then work our way to dinner. Folks are free to come and go whenever, and some choose not to eat dinner with the rest of us, etc. Anyway, how does the following strike you?

Day/Time: Friday evening, 5 pm to 7pm...

Location: "Networks", the bar in the lobby of the Hyatt hotel. Should be plenty large enough, from talking to the folks there. Around 6 or so, we can move towards dinner at the hotel restaurant or go out for dinner.

Attendees: EricP, Trader Alan, Matthias Knab (supertip), KymarFye, Brandon, Toni Hansen, jaybiegh (* - bringing name tags), Threei, Apakhabar, Vince Paladino, aldrums, Palo Alto Trader, Chris-

Possible Attendees: LPS5, OZ

If I've left you off the list and you'd like to join us, please let me know so that I can give the hotel/restaurant a decent estimate.

All those planning to attend, please provide feedback on the meeting time/location, so we can lock it in as final by no later than Monday.

Thanks,
-Eric
