Wayne, Some folks who need credit and cant get it do deserve it. The banks can't have easy money and not use it because they screwed up in the past. The banking system bails them out and now its time for payback. The Fed/Bush admin should be jawboning those bankers into getting back into the game. Government protects them except in extreme cases. Its time for them to step up to the plate or indeed we will wind up with a pushing string/Japan like situation. Your post was great. Havent thought about this since the Kennedy administration when he took on Big Steel. mike
