I don't think the government should spend a dime on stem cell research. I don't think the government should do anything that it isn't already doing and get rid of most of what it already is doing. If the gment is going to throw money around, it most likely won't be the most efficient way. There are thousands of biotech companies here, and around the world. Instead of using gment money in anyway towards biotech research, they should lower cap gains tax and create a whole new biotech stimulus.
