the bottom line is that upcoming p4 is 2GHz and upcoming a4 is 1.5GHz, no arguments here. But intel states that the processor runs at speed of 2Ghz which implies that 1.5GHz is 25% slower.
I can recall from way back when that the average speed is the distance between points A and B divided by the time that it takes to get from A to B.
But GHz stands for frequency ......
