And as it happens, Isopatch and Slider on the Black are THE targets of a small clique of thread raiders who call High Tolerance Plasticity home. Their little group has been on the wrong side of important market and sector trends so many times - in spite of being warned in advance by us - via numerous public posts that they've gotten really crazy with embarrassment, jealousy and vindictiveness. If you can step back from it? It's really a fascinating display of how the loser mentality continually fights the market and rejects even obvious and readily available good advice. For over 6 months they periodically arrive in small commando like units coordinating via PMs. It's really hilarious.<G> We don't even mention individuals by name. But they still show up and get right into baiting, sniping and bashing us with one personal attack after another until we give em the obligatory "attitude adjustment" such as I recently passed out in just 2 posts to the katatonic potato chip<g> expounded upon below: Last week, without warning, another desperate anti-gold gadfly came at me claiming that I was fraudulently posting about several articles in the WSJ, by an economist and his work. Problem is he didn't bother to do his homework before launching his lengthy personal attack. Meanwhile, I had hard copy of the articles IN HAND.<G> No surprise, in the past few days, more bashers have shown up, as usual. We come to refer to the recurrent phenomena as "The thread Wars" Me and Slider vs a gaggle of toy clown dogs from HTP that Slider dubbed the "chihuahuas" because of their low life unscrupulous attacks aka "ankle biting". Quite appropriate imagry, IMHO.<lol> Although a little zinging is fun once in awhile. It serves no purpose to respond more than occasionally to 3nd rate market followers with too little grey matter and much time on their hands. Although I really respect and enjoy brainstorming with our small core group of contributors on Strictly Drilling, this thread provides a more more relaxed and supportive atmosphere for me cobble my thoughts together. Thx to Chris and everyone else her for making me feel at home. And thx for the appreciation you've expressed about my posting. Mrs Patch likes to say..."You have your moments. Not many<G>...but you do have em".<lol> BTW if the spirit ever moves you, come on over to S.D. and give me a little covering fire when you think it would be helpful.<G> IMHO, a little occasional jousting helps you develop the thick emotional skin for dismissing the stresses of trading.
