And that is AFTER spending $5 Billion so far this year on New fabs and equipment.

Ummm... Dan, how much of that decline relates to acquisition costs and losses in Intel Capital from the rather vast decline in the stock market, especially in the dot.bomb arena??? I know you want to make the case that AMD has cost Intel tons of money... I don't know why, but you clearly do. I honestly don't think it's an accurate argument... much like the vast majority of arguments you post here...

If memory serves, Intel is spending a LOT on putting capital in place this year. Did you account for that in your model? (No, you just took some raw data and leapt to an emotionally satisfying conclusion).
