Peter:

I am mainly a lurker, but I very much appreciate the expert
opinions on this thread.

Third Wave Technologies (TWTI) is a biotech that interests me. Can't find any thread on SI for it.

Unlocked huge number of shares last Wednesday. Apparently
the unlock was totally priced into the shares, since the
stock has actually appreciated since then.

From 2nd quarter earnings release:

"Sales of Third Wave's Invader (R) genetic variation analysis products increased to $7.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2001, up from $0.6 million during the same period of 2000."

Insiders were buying at higher prices than today in February. They apparently were not in a mood to sell when
the lockup expired.

Cash on hand will cover burn rate for 3+ years.

Any comment on TWTI? SNP companies in general?

Thanks

Jim H
