<<Is there anything worth buying now?>>

A quarter pound of Portland Bubonic?<G>

geez, not much. Oils have been beaten pretty good, but demand's in the dumper worldwide. Too early for gas. Drugs are too expensive, as are the consumer nondurables. The cyclicals were run up in anticipation of a recovery that won't arrive, as have the retailers. Homebuilders are at the top of the cycle and are starting to roll over. Ditto most financials. Tech is in the dumper and the entire semi/semi equipment industry is horrendously overvalued.

AHA! Here's one: biz.yahoo.com

Pawn shops...the growth industry of the NEW millenium!
(Actually, their financials are solid and they probably WILL do well the next few quarters).

Hospitals might be OK (and here's a symbol I KNOW you'll dig): biz.yahoo.com
They're not cheap though.

Health care REIT's, forestry REIT's, maybe a little gold. OTW cash is still king, dood! Too soon for most techies, I presume you saw Sicko's last report, no visibility, etc.
