Pretty interesting, Doug. It gives a nice idea of where to expect the bottom if things actually do return to the norm. I saw an article recently by a guy who had looked at the history of market bubbles. In every case, S&P had returned to a PE of 12.5, often lower. This jibes pretty closely with your return to historical norm value of about Dow 6000. Will this bubble be different? Maybe. You ever been a Jackson Browne fan? Can you see those dark clouds gathering up ahead? They're going to wash this planet clean like the Bible said. Now you can hold on steady, try to keep ready, But everybody's gonna get wet. Don't think it won't happen just because it hasn't happened yet. That song was released in 1973. Jackson got it dead wrong!!!! CD
