To a lot of people it is a breath of fresh air to have someone running the country who has retained his perspective. I think it is a brilliant stroke that most Americans will see as more of the Bush WYSIWYG.

And I don't share the conservatives' enthusiasm for what Bush has accomplished so far

While you may not agree with his agenda, it would be a difficult argument, indeed, to suggest that Bush has not been successful. There is little question that he has already had more significant accomplishments, in just six months, than the previous administration did in eight full years.

Bush's accomplishments to date are clearly a result of strong leadership, focus, integrity, and professionalism. While each is an important element, the professionalism is striking. Under Clinton the country literally looked foolish while, for eight years, it was obvious the White House was in total chaos. Not only was it the most corrupt administration in memory, if not in the history of the nation. But the lack of organization was unbelievable. Total idiots running the White House.

I believe it would have been devastating had Gore won the election and continued this mismanagement.
